Why Has My Entire Yahoo Mail Disappeared?

EVERYTHING in the Yahoo Mail Inbox has disappeared!?

• Yesterday, my boss went to log onto his yahoo e-mail and his entire Inbox was empty. He receives messages, but they only stay in there for a short time and then also disappear. We've called Yahoo and they say he's been hacked (which is impossible since he changes his password every 3-4 DAYS) or that it's Outlook (which he doesn't use). Of course, it's no fault of theirs... even though, he runs his website through there as well and it has been having trouble as well (not reading stats, etc.) The guy he was on the phone with (for THREE hours) yesterday was nice, but when he asked to have his mail sent to him that was lost, they got a snotty supervisor on there that said "You did something wrong, so you can't blame us... too bad". He still can't keep messages in. He's still on Classic mail, so we know it isn't a Beta problem. No one at Yahoo will help. Can anyone out there help us? Or is it time jump ship to switch to Google?

• Answer:

  1.You must have left your Yahoo account open on a Public or Work or Home PC. Then someone wanted to delete your messages. 2. You left your Messenger logged in and they accessed that way. 3. Someone has found out your Password and decided your messages were not worth anything. Then deleted them. 4. Between Yahoo Mail Updating to New Mail and trying to save your files. Your messages are on another server. 5. You might not even have the correct ID loggin. It might be another persons or another one of your ID`s. 6. You probably downloaded your whole email box to another PC or POP account like Outlook.
