Click a link to send e-mail but compose page will not open?

I want to send a web site to a friend I click file and then send link. it goes to my yahoo mail page, not to the compose page. what is going on?
Answer:

I reported it and got a reference #7193261 since the same thing is happening to me. They don't seem concerned, feeling we can cut and paste in the address to our compose page. They just did some upgrades and suspect that it's related to those, but they don't plan any immediate corrections.

sorry, I don't have the answer, but this is happening to me lately too. Maybe it is a glitch with Yahoo right now b/c it use to work fine for me...
