How can I restart a yahoo account?

Why does Yahoo New mail hijack my mouse?

  • I have emails on Gmail, Live Mail and Aol mail but on Yahoo's new mail I can't use my go back button on my mouse like the others can. Also the "snap to" ability of the cursor does not go to the OK button when you hit empty trash or empty spam. Yahoo new mail hijacks the ability to use all these functions. Also it does not like me to delete my drafts when I want to. Plus it makes a draft if I don't finish an email compose. I did not ask for this particular draft but there are ones in there that Yahoo made for me that are blank. Plus it's slow, locks up at times and I have to restart the browser if I can't get it to respond. Yahoo is not what they used to be. I can find other problems with the mail as well like trying to find out how to change the password. Now you have to click on your name to find your account instead of Options. Also it shows names instead of email addresses in the To, CC or BCC column. Did you ever try to copy and paste these yellow name boxes? I like the old style. I can get in and get out quick instead trying to deal with this screwed up slow mail program.

  • Answer:

Hummm. CEO just departed Yahoo. Wonder why ? I was happy with the old My Yahoo. I think new routines for making ads more powerful screwed up performance in this new My Yahoo. My biggest complain problem ??? I can not find "Format" to get spell check, font size, etc..
