I contacted Customer Support and this is what they replied back with "I understand you're missing the "Compact View" on the Yahoo! Homepage. I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you and have some information to share with you. Unfortunately, the "Compact View" has been removed from the Yahoo! Homepage and is no longer available. Please be assured that I have forwarded your input regarding this change to our product team for their review. Your patience and understanding is greatly appreciated as we continue our efforts to improve your experience on the Yahoo! Homepage."

Yahoo! has disabled this option for foreseeable future! There will NOT be compact page anymore. Please start using the full page. I hope you will start liking it soon
