What is wrong with the Yahoo! email?

What is wrong with my yahoo email?

  • Here is a little comparison on my problem: Since 2/1/07 Prior to 2/1/07 Daily personal emails per inbox = 1 or 2 before = 15 to 20 Daily bulk or junk emails = 2 to 4 before = 200+ As you see my yahoo email address of over 10 years, is acting really gooofy since 2/1/07. My friends, family, and even I myself have tried to email to my yahoo email address from different sources and it is blocked. IT does not come into my INBOX and vice versa. I can not sent out any emails either. I have emailed yahoo support over 10 times since this problem started but without any response or luck. What should I do to solve this problem? Has somebody hijacked my email or is monitoring my email?? What is going on? Can anyone help me out? Yahoo do not have a phone support line and nobody is doing anything in regards to this problem.

you know, i think i can help. i need to know what OS you are using. If it's XP then i can guide you the steps. ME and previous versions wreak havoc on the problem you are r talkin' bout'... forget about tech support 4 now..can you do a system restore point, where everything was working fine. go to start then all programs then accesseries, look for system restore,,,,if that does not work...you may need to upgrade to xp...that took care ofmy similar problem....good luck and if u don't ...e-mail me ..

now just before that date what did you upgrade on your puter was it a browser by any chance, if so which one ,or did you go from dialup too broadband, or did you changed speed, fire wall did you change firewall ,you had too off changed something. Are your isp settings for your email correct. You may find what changes YOU made are the ones affecting your email account, not the server.

You can go back and reset your computer to a time prior to the problem and see if that fixes it. You need to go into the control panel under maintenance to find that area. I would try it first. If that doesn't do it (I just did it on my computer and it worked) then I would post the same question under "COMPUTERS" where perhaps someone with a lot of computer savvy will see the question and give you another avenue to try. Good Luck.
