How do you get a classic yahoo?

HOW 2 get the old CLASSIC yahoo mail look for my page?

  • when they started with all these so-called NEW page designs it was easy to find a tab under "mail options",,,and you were able to get the ''old classic original mail'' look,.... for ones account. i just dont need, nor want all this so called other information swirling around on a site. i just wanna receive and or send email info....from the original yahoo classic style. so now i have my old account still..thank god... but i just opened a new yahoo and i can not for the life of me...find the tab to click on.. to get the old classic mail graphics back for this new one. please......ANYONE,,,can you baby step me ,,,how to go find the classic mail tab?.. for the yahoo....new account?// plez,,,i'm old.....so please explain..clearly. or...please....do not tell me...they dont offer the '''switch back to classic''' anymore cause they dont want you to NOT have all the BS that goes with the new designs.. plez.....HELP an old fart,,,get his classic yahoo style look? i especially love the,,,check all......tab for the mail so i can delete a whole bunch of stuff at once.... and the simple graphic.... plez....HELP? how do i get it...on these newer yahoo looking accounts?

There is no option to select Classic on a new account. You can only request that it be switched. I have heard that Yahoo will switch it for you if you contact them. There is live chat. It sometimes takes a few seconds for the chat icon to appear. http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/ymail/forms_index.html This is a link to return to Classic Mail. The only problem is that you must continue to use it or you revert back to Regular. http://mrd.mail.yahoo.com/switchclassic Here is the help screen with that link. http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/ymail/context/migrationv2.html It has been discovered that turning off Javascript will allow you to return and the change is permanent. For IE go to tools ↬ internet options ↬ security. Click on the "custom level" button, go to the scripting section and disable active scripting. For Firefox go to tools ↬ options ↬ content. Uncheck "enable Javascript". For Safari go to settings ↬ preferences ↬ security. Uncheck "enable Javascript". When you go to Yahoo mail it will indicate that you must use Classic and will give a link. Once done you can return to the previous Javascript settings. ʎəɿʞɹɐq  ̊ ͜͡● ̊
