How do i know if my outgoing mail has been received by recipitent?

    Yahoo doesn't give you an option for "read receipt"; only outlook express will do that. You would have to use outlook express to send/receive email for that notification.

The only way to do this is if you attach a read receipt to your email. A read receipt will send you an email once the recipient has opened the email that you sent. If you didn't originally do this, there is no way to find out if someone read or opened the email you sent.

If it has been sent, you will see a notice that it has been sent, ready for your recipient to open. It is stored in your ISP's Server.

If you use Outlook Express you can request a reciept from the recipiant of the e-mail, but on their screen it asks that you have requested a receipt and they can refuse. So in answer to your question it's possible but its hit and miss whether you hear from them or not!
