How can I send a mail via Philippine post?

This might sound dumb...but can send mail with out going to the post office, right?

lol i know that might sound stupid. but like, you can put your mail in the box and put the little flag thing up and the mail person will take it right? lol cause i need to mail something and can't get to the post office xD

As long as you have a stamp or the proper postage yup...I lived in rural northern Michigan and I used to put the money in my mailbox asking the postmaster to put the postage on it for me.
