Why is my Hotmail account not receiving emails?

Problems With Receiving Specific Emails... :-(?

• Hello, Could somebody help me out here, please... I'm not receiving "on time" emails from a specific email address. "On time" meaning that those emails are late up to 24hrs, usually it takes couple of hours to hit my Yahoo! Inbox but now they are late up to entire day from sending to receiving.. I live in a small southeuropean country and my ISP isn't globally known and ISP's Helpdesk says it's Yahoo!'s issue... Anyone knows anything about it? When I get emails from: Gmail, Hotmail etc they hit my Yahoo! Inbox almost immediatelly but when using ISPs email account for sending to Yahoo! recipients emails are that much late.. It's unbareable anymore and my ISP says it can't to much about it, it's just Yahoo! :-(( Pls, help out! Thank you in advance Kind Regards Amelie

  I dont think there is some thing to do with yahoo mail. AFAIK, when you could receive other mails almost instantly, there should be some thing wrong with the mail which is delayed. may be there smtp ( mail delivery agent ) is delayed in sending mail. or they might be lots of mail sent from that ISP might have made spam filters in any mail provider think as "Spam mails" and might verify the mails for contents before delivery. or some other issues. if you still want to find out the reason, you could probably send mail to yahoo customer care and mention about your problem and also details about your ISP to get better response
