Problem with sending emails with Hotmail?

Why are Hotmail emails being delayed?

  • I think a few people have noted this problem recently. Why are hotmail emails being delayed up to a week or even being returned undelivered?? Its fine sending to hotmail from yahoo. This is very annoying as alot of my contacts are on hotmail, which means I'm missing important emails. Is there a way to contact Yahoo directly about this problem?? Do they even now about it? .....as I havent received any correspondence from them about this problem....!!!! Come on Yahoo....sort it out!!!

    i noticed this as well sometimes it takes a day or two once it took 3 weeks! but its fine recieving from yahoo or sending to hotmail - i just recieved an email from another email provider 2 days late, so i think that this is a problem with Yahoo

I have been having this problem for weeks now. Either the emails arrive days and days later or they bounce back and I never receive them. It's sooo frustrating! And I have emailed yahoo about 20 times and all I get is an automatic response saying they are looking into it and giving me a ticket number. I now have about 20 ticket numbers but what's the use of that if they are obviously doing nothing at all.

Yes, totally ignoring his moral responsibility, his carbon footprint and his eco-credentials my father decided to go to 'The Big Apple' to take advantage of the excellent exchange rate right now. Now, he requested that I pick him up from Edinburgh Airport on return. I ran into problems due to the fact that he refused to tell me his return flight details and I had to leave him in the lurch. I emailed him from Hotmail to his Yahoo account which he would use every day out there but EVERY email was returned. Imagine his surprise when I wasn't there for him at the airport.!!!! This email malarky must surely be bringing Taxi drivers some extra revenue at least!!! Yahoo! for Yahoo!!
