How do I get my email?

How can I get Yahoo to pay attention to the fact that I can't stand the "new" yahoo email and its "features"?

  • I have two Yahoo email accounts--one in Classic Yahoo and the other in the new version, which Yahoo arbitrarily changed over for me! I have given them feedback on this three or four times but they never respond and they seem not to care what we their users think at all! HOW CAN I GET THESE PEOPLE TO RESPOND TO ME? I have asked them to PLEASE put my other email account back into the Classic Yahoo version, but they do not have the courtesy to even acknowledge my requests. WHY WOULD WE WANT TO USE AN EMAIL VERSION THAT LOOKS JUST LIKE AOL???? I quit AOL years ago! I can't stand the new version of Yahoo... you can't swipe over the subject of the email when it appears in the Inbox to see what the whole header says, nor can you swipe your mouse over the sender's email address to see the complete address. Plus, I am getting mega millions of spam emails now and Yahoo allows even more of them into my Inbox. Help! Because you can no longer swipe over a sender's complete email address, how are we to know if it is really spam? If anyone can help me get their attention, I would really appreciate it! I REALLY don't like the new "Big Brother" email that Yahoo has so "kindly" set up for us! Thank you!

  • Answer:

You'll have to switch back to Classic yourself----Yahoo's NOT gonna volunteer to do it for you, cause they want to "force" you to use the new version. You can do this to "STAY with" (or get BACK to) Classic (which is the ONLY older version you can stay with or get back to)----it's quick and easy. This link (below) has been reported to be a permanent fix---and even stops future "prompts to upgrade" It's different than some of the other links, (that have been given), which are only temporary. Click this link: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/ymail/context/migrationv2.html When the page opens---scroll down about midway until you see this---"What if I don’t want to upgrade to the newest version of Yahoo! Mail"?----IF you do not want to upgrade, please "click here" to use Yahoo! Mail Classic. ("click here" is a blue link). Return to Classic is immediate
