Problem connecting to yahoo mail today? does anyone know when it is likely to be working again?

when I try to connect to www.yahoo.com I just get a permanent 'waiting' response. Problem started today 9 October.

I am having the exact same problem. Since yesterday I am unable to access my yahoo mail; the page will not load. I have a white page, and it say waiting for data from (whatever the site is called). It worked fine up till then. Now it is totally useless.
