I win Yahoo! 2006 Mid-Year Gift prize but not give winning prize what happend give replay?

see what has happened to Naresh C prize also. Very sorry picture cut by yahoo answers team and their customer care in two of the contest. It is non existant. We should put pressure on yahoo india to stop these contest as they take up lot of time of participants. Probably u and Naresh C were not member of cartel formed by yahoo answers team. I.e. why the prizes have not beeen received by both of you.

just in case, U sure u won? In case u got a fraud letter or something? Call them and try sending the same emails to other departments as well. besides the customer service..

I have also won the prize for India's Mysterious 5 Contest. Once they said the prize is lost in transit (that too I got to know from the courier company and when I informed Yahoo they said thank you for informing us and we will take up the matter with courier company). Than informed that they have secured the compensation from courier company and that I shall receive it by 6th Oct'06. However I have not received it so far. I have mailed them on the answer's team mail ID four times requesting to give the airway bill, date of dispatch and courier details but they have not bothered to respond. yahoo expects us to believe that the prize can be lost twice in the courier. It is a pathetic show and poor handling of contest by Yahoo. They did not break the news personally instead sent by mail. All the chasing has to be done by Recipient and the response mechanism is so slow to the extent it is non existant , that you start doubting the credibility of Contest conducted by Answers team. If you post your comments on blog which is seen worldwide, even than either they dont respond or dont see it or prefer to remain silent. I have sent mail on their corporate ID of India, sent them details on Suggestion form but yahoo has "High and Mighty attitude" and "I could not care less attitude". To the extent there hierarchy (India) is not available on the net so that you can correspond with right person. There is something fishy to it and it stinks. I never expected that yahoo can have such a poor and shoddy handling. Very Poor experience. They think that people participate for the sake of money and that it cannot be for the purpose of competition and winning.
