Can I reactivate a terminated account?
-
Yahoo terminated my account for one reason or another which I do not know. I have important information in the account including my contacts' email address in the address book. I want to retrieve the my account information and if possible reactivate it.

Answer:
Try contacting Yahoo and see if they reactivate your account for you. :)

I have been using Yahoo mail for several years and I have never had any problems. Yahoo is the one now, who offers unlimited storage also. It is sad to know about your case and about the other who replied above. Try contacting Yahoo customer care at [email protected] No harm trying. If nothing works then you may have to live with it. I wish you good luck.

Nope... it's gone forever, so you may as well get over it. When Yahoo terminated my account of EIGHT YEARS... I lost my Internet identity and all of the saved e-mail from those years... and the bast*rds didn't even give me a chance to save things off. I no longer keep my e-mail account with Yahoo. I have a google GMAIL account and I keep my e-mail totally separate from my throw away accounts on Yahoo that I only use for playing on Answers. I no longer use Yahoo for ANYTHING but playing on Answers. I don't even surf the Web with Yahoo... because I know they get a fraction of a penny for every link that I click on. Other than for Answers, I think Yahoo is totally worthless... and certainly arrogant. Just get another account... a THROW AWAY account... and post until your heart is content... then when they terminate your account, you just open another one... The only way Yahoo can control people is by offering those stupid "Points" and once you no longer collect or care about Points, they have no way to control what you say or do on Answers... even terminating your account will not slow you down for more than the 3 or 4 minutes it takes to get another Yahoo account... and an automatic 100 points of Answers. The plus side of being terminated is, all of the nonsense you have ever posted under your old ID is also deleted so there is no way someone who is tracking you are trying to make life miserable for you by giving you one of those stupid "thumbs down" things, can find you any longer... unless they can figure out who you are from your new ID.
