What is wrong with my yahoo account?

  • Once i enter my login details the screen goes white (which is normal normal) but then it stops loading meaning that i can do nothing. This has happened everytime i've tried to log in - in the past few weeks. I have had the account for about 4-5 years and its my primary email. I created a new yahoo account today based on US content (instead of my old NZ based content) and today my new account has the same problem as the old one. My email accounts with other providers work fine, i have the same problem with different computers and different browsers. What can i do? Does anyone else have this problem? Has anyone else had it?

    most probably you switched to yahoomail beta. I also was unable to view my mails for 1 month. you should get back to the classic mail format.Here how it works: 1.Sign out of all yahoo service. 2.click this link http://mail.promotions.yahoo.com/scp/vie... 3.click on "try it now" 4. Then give your yahoo! id and password, and then click "no thanks, remind me later" you will be redirected to your old email box again If it also is not working for you, try the following link to read your mails in wap format http://us.wap.yahoo.com hope it will work for you,best of luck

Strange. The way you describe it sound so much like mine. But if it is so, then it has nothing to do with Yahoo. Are you using Window Vista? If yes, it is Vista's problem, not yahoo. If not, then ... I also do not know. But I ever face is and there is totally nothing I can do. But I do keep my window OS updated and I even download Yahoo updates. Yes, they do have. It has something to do with Yahoo toolbar. When I download it, it fix some problems and yahoo problem rarely happen now. In fact, I don't recall it ever happening again. So give it a try. Where is the link to the yahoo toolbar updates? Well, when my IE hang, by default it was set to try to fix by itself and it prompt me it was cause by yahoo toolbar and so I just click on the link which takes me to the download. If your problem is same as mine, try keep opening a few IE and access a few places and then close and try a few times till something happen. Hopefully your PC is set to auto seek out recovery link.
