Why does an email account suddenly get denied access and how can I get access again?

  • My husband tried to log in to his yahoo acct this morning with his regular login id and password, but was suddenly and with no explanation denied access. He followed all the prompts to change the password, but all responding info was sent to his alternate email account which unfortunately, he no longer has. He really needs to recover his existing yahoo email account. How do we get help?

  • Answer:

    Your Mail Server is Offline now. Access your Yahoo mailbox via http://wap.oa.yahoo.com/. OR If you have. Yahoo! Mail has experienced a login error OR "Unable to load mail javascript files." Just do this and you are good to go !!! IE7 > Tools > Delete all browsing history. Firefox > Firefox Tools, Clear Private Data, check 'Cache' only, Clear Private Data Now. Then your Yahoo Mail will load and open successfully.

Well my sympathies,I thought only my husband had this problem.When he had this glitch the first time a few months ago, on our son's advice he browsed Yahoo Deutschland,got the yahoo mail screen and entered his user id and password - it worked!(although in German you can guess where to enter the name and password,it helped that my husband learnt some German 40 years ago) But unfortunately since the last one week even this has gone kaput. I hope somebody bails us (our husbands,I mean) out.
