How to fix error 999?

Error 999 - How do I fix this?

• Been happening for 4 days now. Open an email, try to delete it .. get Error 999 message. Check off several emails to delete .. that won't work and then I get Error 999 message. I even deleted temporary internet files. I am using Google Chrome for my browser. I tried Internet Explorer the other day... no good. How do I fix this? I have several saved folders in Yahoo and not prepared to change to gmail yet.
