Why does the mail alert in Yahoo not working?

Why is my Yahoo! Mail still not working?

• My Yahoo! Mail hasn't been working for over a week now. I assumed this was due to whatever problem it was Yahoo! had with their servers, which had affected everyone else. I've tried contacting Yahoo! about this, but no response so far. When I try to log into my Mail, I get this message: The error, LaunchCascadeError-ymws:Server.MailboxOp… occurred when trying to connect to Yahoo! Mail. I have tried changing back to Classic Yahoo! Mail but get the same error. I have also tried using Safari, Firefox and Internet Explorer but get exactly the same error each time, even on different computers. Is this a universal problem or simply one which is affecting my account? If so, how do I resolve it? Thanks.

  It's not a universal problem, my advice is contact yahoo on another P.C.!!! Go to a friends and use is mail to report the problem because the glitches due to the upgrades are all but over so things should be back to normal.!!! I'm in South Africa and we had problems from Friday till Tuesday and it's over.!!
