How do I set yahoo mail as the default mail client in vista w/ ie7?

have already checked sim q's and a's here. i get an error message when i open yahoon mail via short-cut and direct vista to make yahoo mail the default mail client.

Enter inet options in control panel. If it is not an option in programs make mail.yahoo.com your homepage. Return to programs and select the Y.
