Why won't my Yahoo email load?

My yahoo email inbox wont load emails on my iphone anymore?

  • My iPhone email account is set up for yahoo and has been working fine for 18 months, but it has now stopped loading my emails. It tries to load emails but nothing happens it keeps flashing up the downloading bar, but again nothing happens. I've tried resetting my iPhone via iTunes but this hasn't worked. I've also deleted my Yahoo account from my iPhone and changed the password for my account then reloaded it on my iPhone but again with no success

    Just got off the phone with AT&T about the issue and it seems I had a corrupt file/email in my inbox. I was told to create a new folder and move all my inbox messages into it. When i did, the tech sent me a test email and my email started working again! Afterward, I went back and started moving my inbox messages back into my inbox 1 by 1 until I found the culprit. Try that and good luck! PS - I had to create the folder and remove the inbox messages in my mail account on my desktop - not on my iPhone.

its due to a corrupt file in your email. You have to either delete or move the corrupt file. You have to move the emails from your inbox to a new folder until it starts working again. I have over 10,000 emails in my inbox. I had to move about 300 of them before it started working for me again. From there you have to sort through the 300 to find the corrupt file or you can just leave it and store the corrupt file in the new folder. You just have to take some time to find the corrupt file or move the corrupt file from your inbox to another folder in order for it to start working again.

NEW YAHOO! MAIL IS STILL UNSTABLE....IT WOULD BE BEST TO GO BACK TO YOUR PREVIOUS VERSION OF YAHOO! MAIL... To go back to YAHOO! MAIL CLASSIC... Turn off Javascript - you'll then be asked if you want to return to Mail Classic, click "yes". If you don't know how to turn off Javascript... For SAFARI: Open SETTINGS>click PREFERENCES>>click SECURITY>>Uncheck ENABLE JAVA and ENABLE JAVASCRIPT IMPORTANT:Remember to RE-ENABLE JAVA and JAVASCRIPTING back ON when you are back in Mail Classic because without it some mail functions won't work. For IE: Open TOOLS > INTERNET OPTIONS >> SECURITY. In security click "CUSTOM LEVEL" -> disable active scripting in the scripting section. IMPORTANT:Remember to turn JAVASCRIPTING back ON when you are back in Mail Classic because without it some mail functions won't work. For FIREFOX: Open TOOLS -> OPTIONS -> CONTENT, click on "DISABLE JAVASCRIPT". Now hit F5 to refresh the page while you are in Yahoo! email in order to switch back... In the options, click (PERMANENT) to switch back to YAHOO! Classic. DO NOT click the "ONE TIME ONLY" option. IMPORTANT: Turn JAVASCRIPT back ON once you have your "CLASSIC" account back.
