What are the IMAP server settings for Yahoo Mail Plus?

Yahoo mail on my HP Veer? 10pts!!?

• I bought my phone back in July, I manually set up my yahoo account, but about every two weeks I get an error when I open my email, or I receive a message on my phone that says "check your login and password. I then open my email and when I click on the yellow triangle, the drop down message says login credentials rejected, update your username or password. I would have to remove the account and manually reenter the server settings all over again. But for the past two days, it's become more frequent, about ever couple of hours that I keep getting the error message. Is there something I'm doing wrong? I've entered everything the way it should, but I still keep getting the same error. I don't have a yahoo mail plus account, just standard email. Here's what I'm entering.... Server type: IMAP Email address: my username [email protected] Incoming mail server: palm.imap.mail.yahoo.com Username: my username, excluding @yahoo.com Password: my password Encryption: SSL Port #: 993 Outgoing mail server: palm.smtp.mail.yahoo.com Use authentication: on Username: my username, no @yahoo.com Password: my password Encryption: SSL Port #: 465 And then I sign in, and after that I create account. I even restarted my phone to see if that would help, but that didn't help. I contacted HP recently and I was given the same set up info, so what could be wrong? If anyone can help and tell me something I should do differently, or something I'm not doing, please let me know, it would be greatly appreciated.

  go to this link: http://www.precentral.net/workaround-fix-yahoo-email-1299-error U need to delete Ur yahoo email acc first. then when U want to add Ur yahoo email acc. U must choose "email account" is not "yahoo!" in the "email">"preferences & accounts" menu. Also use manual setup to input Ur info. after U finish everything U can use it and no error anymore. hope it can help.
