Some emails to me are marked delivery failure and returned to sender. Doesn't happen every time. How do I fix?
-
In the last month, some emails to my yahoo address have been sent back to the sender saying 554 Delivery Error, account is disabled or discontinued [#5.1.6] Been on the Live Chat now 5 times and even some test emails they sent to me were kicked back. This problem has been inconsistent, some emails come through from the same sender. No one seems to be able to fix this. Now trying to get a response from the Postmaster Agent. Very frustrating. Anyone else have this problem?

Answer:
When a message like that appears it means that the response time is far more then the send time meaning there is a kick over between systems that are not always in sync. To fix it go to your start menus hit Run then type in command...next write in it ping www.yahoo.com then generally wait see how long the numbers are for pin. If they are both sent and recieved at the same number interval then you are fine with your ISP server. If not well contact your service provider for internet there might be a connection problem. To get back to yahoo I suggest when sending any email wait a few minutes between sending out bulk emails and if you get repeats or non response, keep trying again and again until it does work, if you still notice that the messages are coming back to you, try and reset your options on passwords or account information as you might have put in the settings something that limits how much you can send as in its size. Um also, some emails that I have gotten recently have come back because A. the person I sent the email to has me either in Spam or Block status or has their inbox so full that they can't accept any more email or they decided to disable it(deleted the account all together). Also take into account just how many people are online at the same time, many servers are so overloaded with how many they can view that they just like you have issues. So try and be patient and understand that their job is harder then yours and they often have to shut half of the email service down to accommodate the other half.
