Why cant i receive replies from craigslist to my yahoo email?

  Many web sites use an HTML command called MAILTO:. It is an easy way to handle email since they do not have to design forms and handle the mail themselves. The command transfers to the "default" email program which is normally Outlook Express or Windows Mail on a PC. If you are using email at a web site it is easier to just copy down the address and then type it into the TO box manually. Craigslist email addresses have this format: [email protected]. Just type it into the TO line. To use a standalone email program you would need a Yahoo Plus account for $19.99 a year. To change the default to Yahoo you can do this.... If you are using Firefox ... Go to tools > options > applications. Scroll down to MAILTO and select Yahoo Mail from the dropdown menu. That will make website mail links go to Yahoo. For IE you need the Yahoo toolbar. ℬ ℋ
