Why can't I access my yahoo account from windows mail?

Why cant i access my other yahoo mail account ? Everything freezes when i get to my mail page.?

  • I can log in to my mail pg but every link is frozen; I can't access my mail and when i click anything a shadow bar flashes and disappears. I can only close the mail pg thru Ctrl-Alt-Delete. Then i get a error msg box saying "the program is non responsive and to send error report." I hit error sending reprt and i get another box saying "to repert this problem u must be connected to the internet. Please start your connection before continuing." I'm not disconnected but the progam does close. I've tried rebooting, refresng everything and cant get to my mail ! Whats wrong.

There was a problem with some of the older Yahoo Toolbars that has been fixed now - sounds like this problem may be a symptom. If you're still seeing it, uninstall your Yahoo Toolbar from Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel and the problem will most likely go away. If you like the toolbar and want to keep it around, upgrade to the latest version (click the yellow download button on http://toolbar.yahoo.com) and it should work fine.

Are you checking your email from a web based platform? If so did you try a different browser? Maybe that might help.
