How can I send a big attachment in my mail?

How can i send an attachment of size greater than 10 mb through my mail....??

  • Now the situation is that i have to send a paper to an institution through mail and it is of 34 mb.. but my mail says i can attach only files of size 10 mb.. how can i send that..?? please help me..

    ummmmm can you fit a washing machine into a mailbox? pretty much the same concept here. (get a bigger mailbox)

most free e-mail services create this problem because they don't want people flooding their servers. The best way to do this is to go to a website that allows free file sharing (i.e. yourfilehost.com), where you upload your document on to the website, then you can link another person to your document, where they can easily download it. And...its free. As far as I know, a 34 MB document should be allowed on that website I just told you about, so if the institution doesn't mind, you can link them to the document, where they can download it freely (as long as they trust you and don't think you are some virus spreading guy...haha)

You can download from the web, any of a number of free "file splitters" and break you file down into smaller sizes. You can then email the file in smaller pieces. However, the recipient will also need to file splitter program in order to join the file back together.
