Why am I not able to compose new mail anymore?

Why is my Yahoo mail text a different color when I compose a new email?

• When I compose a new email the text is a green color, but when I reply or forward it is black. I have signature enabled and it changes the black text of the signature to green but leaves the blue text in the signature blue. And, when I reply or forward, the signature appears as it should. I cannot find a fix for this and would like to get it fixed because the green is hard to see against the white background, and I don't think I should have to change the text color every time I compose a new email, especially since the signature feature is supposed to save time.

  If you open a new email and click the plain test link on the right side of the subject line, the mail message will change to plain text. The link will change to rich text and the font will stay black. You can compose a new email to make sure that the text is indeed still black. I tried it and signed out of Yahoo, restarted my PC and when Yahoo mail opened and I tried to compose a new message, everything was just the way I wanted it. Hope this helps!
