Why i can't go into my inbox?

My main page says that i have 1 new message, but when go check my inbox i don't have any new messages. Why?

  • it has been like this since May 7, 2007. At the bottom of my screen a reminder popped up telling me i have a new message from someone when i went to check it wasn't there but my main page said i had a new message.

    Many problems can be resolved by following the cleanup steps below: 1. Close all browser windows. 2. Open a new browser window. 3. Click on Tools at the top of your screen. 4. Click on the bottom choice - Internet Options. 5. On the Internet Options drop-down menu, go to the middle section titled Temporary Internet Files. 6. Delete all cookies (button in the middle) 7. Delete all temporary-files (button in the middle) - this step took about 3 minutes - patience! 8. Clear History (button on bottom right-hand corner) when done with all cleanups, click OK at the bottom of the Internet Options screen. This did work for me. Good luck!

all the 3 answers you got are wrong. Reason is most likely due to somebody who sent you an e-mail with wrong date - a date that was 2 years ago for example What u shld do: VIEW unread mail - this is one of the menu at the top

I had this happen to me. Try this first: You need to go into your mail box and make sure you open any unread mail for the second time. (assuming you are using Outlook) or have messenger (msn). Because Outlook gives you double views.. Second Try: I think you are talking about your start up screen for Windows? You might have to make a new account and transfer all your documents to the new account and delete your old one . That is if you want to keep your sign in name the same. I had to do this once or twice before. Hopefully you won't need to do that after you discover step 1 works.
