Why won't my phone send text messages?

My phone wont send text messages now for some reason?

  • OK so it was fine earlier today until suddenly it just wont let me messages send out anymore. I called sprint and they said their text server is "down" right now. Is this even possible? Has anyone else had the same problem? what did you do?

    I have having the same problem.i am uk based and with orange.they stopped sending yesterday afternoon,however i managed to recieve one from my mum who is also on orange and my partner was able to text her back and hes on orange so i dont know.my message just goes into outbox and says queued :(

Mine is having the same probably right now, it started about 2-3 hours ago and I haven't been able to send a text since then. I'm not sure whats going on, I've called customer support and they won't pick up.

same here i have the rumor and of all of a sudden i cant send messaged anymore? help?!?!

Me too I can receive text massages but I can't send a single one D: It started doing this last night

I just called customer care and there is a recording that comes on right before you get to speak to a representative. It says "If you are calling about issues with text mesaging, we are aware of the issue and it should resolved in the next 2 hours. I called at 7:30PM EST I have the Samsung instinct, which sucks so if youre thinking about buying it DONT! I was trying to "keep up with the Jones'" buy purchasing it because I knew ppl with iphones. Samsung Instinct Review....TERRIBLE. It erased all of my pictures and music the other day and sprint can't do anything about it. But back to the main issue, things should be back up soon.

um so i just got off the phone with sprint customer service (9:10 pm) and they said that text messaging for sprint was down nationwide, i can still receive text messages but i cant send them!!! it so frustrating!!! you just have to wait it out and try sending text messages every so often until it works. and the guy that i talked to said it should be back up in 2-3 hours..... and that's to long for me!

hahaha my Samsung Instinct (on sprint) just started to do the same thing... i can receive but can't send.. ITS SO ANNOYING But... yes their server is probably down....could be an overflow.. just like when too many people to try get on the same website at a time...the server is overflowed. give it a few mins it should be back up!

Mine wont either so idk wat is up i guess sprint is having some issues and i thought it was jus my phone but i guess the whole connection is down...i hope it gets fixed because a lot of people are textin me

omg wow i love all of you guyss =] i was bugging out so i googled this and wow yeah i have the palm centro from sprint & i cnt text omg.. and i called and the call wont go throu =[ ahhh lemme noe whats going on pleasee
