How can we close our mail ID?

How do you close your yahoo e-mail account??im getting e mail from some id rather not get an e mail from??

    Don't close it if you don't want to. You can 'block' mail from specific addresses by going to yahoo mail help.

You dont have to close your account. You can ignore the mail by not reading it.

yahoo mail has a blocker Highlite the mail address, make sure there's nothing in it but the complete address hit copy in edit, then go to options and look for the blocker option. When you get there click on the vacant box and hit control and "V". The address will appear in the box. Now hit block and the box will again be vacant and the address will appear in the blocked list. Go back to e-mails and leave happy.
