Why cant I access my contacts on yahoo mail?

  • when Im sending an email .. click on the 'To' it is coming up with connection refused

    Seem to be major problems at the moment. My avatar pic has vanished, my name has reverted to one i dumped months ago and no contacts. Not much is working currently. Amanda has put this on the forum. There is an issue with the service that provides your avatars today. The team is looking into it and we should have things back to normal shortly.

Having the same problem and glad it's not just my computer. I can at least contact people who have sent me email, but get the same connection refused message when trying to send a new email or trying to contact Yahoo. Great way to kick off a Monday.

I am having the same problem. Only way I can send is to 'reply' old email, delete the older part and change subject to my new subject. Looking forward to Yahoo sorting this out.

Same problem here. Thought it was something 2 do with our new server. Guess not! Hope they get this resolved!

Looks like lots of people are having this same problem (including me!). Hope Yahoo fixes it soon! Unfortunately, I've tried to contact them via Email Help and I'm also getting the "Connection Refused" response. I hope someone is looking at these questions!!!!!

Same problem here. Cannot access Yahoo! Help either. When forwarding or sending new message no names drop down when I type in first letter of their name.
