Where can I search for an existing yahoo email addresses?

How can an existing Yahoo mail search problem be left unresolved for a long time?

• The email search tool doesn't work properly. The result is now spotty. I may find search result from new and old emails but the in-between emails are missing. In other case, no result at all is shown when I know for sure there is one. Other people have raised this issue as well. This should be treated as a priority for Yahoo! and be resolved quickly. It makes me wonder the reliability of the overall Yahoo search engine.

  try forwarding all of your mail to a hotmail address, then set up outlook express on your home computer, with a local folder setup. that way, you can save a copy of all your important emails on your own hard-drive, available off-line as well. You can also set up outlook for use with a non-hotmail address, but it is quirky.
