Why's it called Yahoo?

Why is BT Yahoo called BT YAHOO ....when it doesn't offer any YAHOO solutions?

The man from BT phoned me today, after several complaints and told me " We don't have any relationship with Yahoo we have no way of contacting them" Why is this and please, if you know the answer to that, why do I keep getting the message "connection to yahoo server was lost".....and if you know the answer to that....why is it impossible to downlaod Autosync? regards Newshound

Because each is a separate company, BT is Powered by Yahoo, same as AT&T, they won't help with anything to do with Yahoo. It also says Powered by Yahoo on the mail. They tell us to call Yahoo. In the meantime, Yahoo has been upgrading the servers and had some problems, they said it should be resolved soon. In the meantime, you can click one of these links to access your mail, it's basic, no frills, but it works. http://us.m.yahoo.com/p/mail or: http://uk.m.yahoo.com/p/mail or: http://id.m.yahoo.com/p/mail You will probably be able to download autosync when the servers are finished.
