How to stay logged in for Android?

Why do i stay logged in after logging out, even though i have UNchecked the 'keep me logged in' box?

  • when click on my yahoo shortcut, a new tab opens and the 'sign in' page pops up. once i enter my name and password the page changes to my yahoo home page. from there i'll click on 'mail' from the collumn of links on the left of the page. when i sign out from 'mail', the page reverts to a blank tab. when i next click on my yahoo shortcut, a new tab opens but only asks me for a password. it appears i am still signed into yahoo, even though i had signed out from 'mail'. i have UNchecked the 'keep me logged in' box on the 'sign in' page and also have my 'keep me logged in' option set at one day. (it only offers two options, 1 day or 2 weeks, and a selection must be made.) how do i sign completely out of yahoo from the mail page? thank you in advance for your support. -kd.

  • Answer:

    Click Tools, then click Internet Options. At the top click content, go to auto complete and click settings then forms. Click Apply and Ok. For Firefox, click Tools, then click options, click security then passwords. Also sign out when you are finished every time.
