What's Yahoo server address?

Can login mail.yahoo.com but can't load past that. Whats going on?

  • Logging in mail.yahoo.com brings me to the homepage au.yahoo.com, and I can see the welcome comment on the top right. However it continues to show a refreshing symbol. This does not change at all. I click on the area with "mail" to check email, but I cant. I get this: Unable to connect Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at mc1610.mail.yahoo.com. What's strange is, other pages in yahoo, like answers.yahoo.com, shows a small icon on the top right. It actually shows the number of emails in my email, as compared to the homepage stuck with the refreshing symbol. Strangely enough I am using the very account posting this. Whats going on? It may help to know, that the email address was inactive for quite some time. Perhaps over 3 months of inactivity.

    Sometimes the simplest of fixes work wonders such as type the F5 key to refresh the page and clear up some clutter. Or Type these 3 keys together Ctrl+Shift+Delete and in the window that appears Tick the top box "Preserve Favourite website data"then click on Delete That will clear out your browser cache and is usually enough to fix most problems Last Option If they don't work then a full virus scan may be needed.
