What causes my computer to slow when I log into yahoo email?

I cannot get the yahoo email page up i get page cannot be found when i log in?

ok i log in username and password the page goes to the yahoo main page and indicates i have some new emails so i click on the link and up pops page cannot be found. I tried another pc and hey presto the same thing. I get a friend to log in with their email details and lo w and behold that works perfectly. I tried clearing cache page history etc etc and tried again - same sinario. I log into my yahoo messenger - its says i have new emails i try clicking the email link on that and i get page cannot be displayed what the hell is wrong its really peeing me off as my friends email log in works on my pc but not mine - and i like i say i have tried another computer with the same results. anyone able to help before I resort to smacking my hammer on the computer??
