How to get rid of 553 error in Outlook?

Can't send messages via outlook today error 553--what the heck?

    Hi, I'm getting exactly the same sort of thing "Task 'Yahoo Mail. - Sending' reported error (0x800CCC78) : 'Unable to send the message. Please verify the e-mail address in your account properties. The server responded: 553 From: address not verified; see http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/original/manage/sendfrom-07.html'", but I cannot find anything to suggest why this is happening. Have uninstalled and reinstalled outlook and set up the account details and it still does the same thing, which would suggest (to me...) that this is something to do with the mail server. However, if I log on via explorer I have no problems sending mail!!! Go figure.......
