What's going on with yahoo mail?

Yahoo Mail - Whats going on?

  • For a week now I have been unable to access my Yahoo mail form any PC, not just mine. My patience is wearing thin. Has Yahoo informed anyone what is the problem?

  • Answer:

    It'll sort itself out eventually. It always does. In the meantime, you can get access through the mobile site: http://uk.m.yahoo.com/p/mail It looks crude but it works as a last resort.

I have been able to access mine, but for some reason it hasn't been letting me know if i have any new mails, i have to actually go into my inbox to check. Its really annoying as my computer is already quite slow!!

Mine's ok, but if you leave it for long periods you could loose your email address, I think it's about 30 days

me too impossible to log in for 0ver 48 hrs gone over to gmail , seems a lot more reliable

Same problems here. Mail is frequently unavailable. Even when it is available, new inbox messages don't show until the inbox is checked, and it all runs extremely slowly. Has been like this since last weekend. I'm also on Virgin/Blueyonder cable in the UK. Hope they can sort it soon. As others have pointed out, why doesn't Yahoo have a link to current status problems/issues on it's home page? Nearly every ISP has this sort of information available, it would save much time and worry, and I have spotted this question/request in Yahoo Q&As going back for YEARS. Come on Yahoo - please get your act together.

It's probably to do with either logging in or it might be to do with the fact that everyone's online around the world at the same time. Try again later.
