Difference between halloween and day of the dead?

Day of the Dead or Halloween?

  • Which is more fun? Which is better? Your own opinions please. Halloween is getting boring. I'm wondering if Day of the Dead is just like a birthday party or just a time when you pay a tribute to the dead that come alive again.

    halloween is getting old now i guess, now that your gettting older. but i guess paying a triubute to your love ones isnt so bad either.

In my culture we celebrate the day of the dead, it's nicer than Halloween to me because we take time to remember those in our family who have passed. We prepare alters for those passed or go to their grave site and decorate their tombs, we expect the dead to visit our homes or thier graves on the day of the dead so we offer them food and drinks to keep them happy in the afterlife
