Where to go for a short student holiday?

Where should I go on holiday? (on a student budget)?

I'm looking for a holiday, I live in the uk (i'd be flying from london) and I want to go on holiday before university, so preferably around the end of august and returning really early in September- for about 4/5 nights. Preferably in europe as my budget is pretty tight (i only work in a bakers) I was wondering if you could recommend any places? hostels to stay in? Any advice would be tremendously appreciated.
