What unique events or national/international observances, celebrations, etc., will take place in 2010?

• I want a list of everything that will make 2010 unique. This includes official international observances, official national observances for any country, religious observances (like zodiac years), and anything else you can think of. Unique events or first time occurrences of events that will be repeated indefinitely in the future are the only things I will accept that are short term, not lasting the full year. I would also like year numbers from other cultures or religions. Here are some examples that I already know. 2010 will be the Chinese year 4708, and the year of the tiger in the Chinese zodiac. The UN has recognized it as the International Year of Biodiversity. It will be the year of the first ever Youth Summer Olympics, to be held in August in Innsbruck Singapore. It is also the bicentennial year of Mexican Independence. I would like a list, so you would answer me like this: Chinese year 4708 Chinese zodiac year of the tiger International year of biodiversity First Youth Summer Olympics (August, Innsbruck, Singapore) Bicentennial year of Mexican independence Of course, please do not use any of my examples in your answer. Otherwise, though, make your list as long as possible. I will be looking for things too, so I am not just being lazy. I have already spent an hour and a half looking for these things. I could really use all the help I could get. Finally, I know you guys don't really cite sources much, but feel free to go nuts with the sources box. Even if you give me a longer list than anyone else, I will be less inclined to give you best answer if I have to confirm everything on your list myself.
