How can I scare my friends at a Halloween party?

Halloween party 2011?

I am planning a halloween party for just me and my friends....nothing wild. lol halloween is on a monday this yea so I'm planning the party to be on Sunday (the day before) What should we do? I've never planned a Halloween party so I'm stuck on what to do....all I can think of is trick-or-treating but the party is the day BEFORE halloween so we can't do that... any food ideas, game ideas, really anything will go? also, should i put up halloween decoration to make the place seem creepier? lol
