18th birthday getaway ideas?

My birthday is in January, and i am trying to think of something to do for it that i am going to really remember. I want to go out to a nightclub like 18 year olds usually do on their birthday but i also want to go away somewhere with a few best friends. Or something like that anyway, i was thinking maybe paris as it wont be too expensive and i can save up for it now but i really dont know. I want something to remember, to have fun and start my life as an 18 year old with a bang :p Has anyone got any ideas for an 18th with just a few friends?? and what did everyone else do for their 18th??
