What did you do for your Sweet 16 b-day party?

Astrological - This is based on your Astrological sign and the colors associated with that sign. Remember when - Pick an era! 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s. etc. We're Kids again! - This party is just like the parties you had when you were a kid with pin the tail on the donkey, musical chairs, etc. Monochromatic - Pick a color and decorate in the tones and shades of that color, from light to dark and all the tones in between. So if you choose blue, you would start with light blue, and work your way to dark blue. Birthstone - This theme revolves around the color of your birthstone! From decorations to the tablecloths, napkins, etc. It would be all about your birthstone color! If you're interested in any of theset themes and want me to elaborate on how to decorate, etc, just give me a yell! I hope some of these ideas help! Well, this isn't something you could really "plan" but my 16th was a surprise party. My parents and my friends surprised me with lunch at a local restaurant, then we went to the Aquarium (we live in Baltimore.) It sounds kind of lame but it was pretty fun because all my friends were there. As for something you can plan, I once threw a luau for my birthday. Hawaiian style decorations, etc, and we did it in the backyard so we could have a slip-n-slide and water balloon fights. Admittedly not the most grown up thing, but fun anyway.
