I need some birthday suggestions.

Need suggestions on how to spread the word for a birthday to remember?

• I would like to do something different for my husbands birthday this year. When I asked him what he wanted for his bday...he just said, "Your love is all I need." I thought what better way to give him a lot of love by getting a lot of cards on his bday. I thought wow...how neat would it be to shower him with cards from all over the states. If I can't get one from every state at least shower him with a lot of cards. I have contacted family and friends....but I would like to get the word out to other states. I have put adds on craigslist for them to only get flagged. I don't know if this is a stupid idea. I went and got a PO Box so I can keep this all a surprise and give him all the cards at once on his bday. I just want to make this a birthday for him to always remember. Any suggestions on how to get the word out ?? Thank you

  I'm not really sure why he'd appreciate cards from people that he doesn't know, so I think your best bet is to focus on friends, and family. Maybe some acquaintances would be happy to send a card too. If he has a Facebook account, send private messages through Facebook (you can do this from your account even if you aren't friends with all his friends) to all his friends letting them know that he would really enjoy receiving cards this year, and giving them the P.O. box address. You could also post the info on your Facebook, while blocking him from seeing that post (use the new privacy controls), so that your friends can also send him cards.
