I need some birthday suggestions.

Need some help wording invites for a baptism and birthday combined. Any suggestions?

I'm having trouble figuring out how to word invitations. My son's baptism and birthday celebration will be on the same day. Baptism is at 2 and I'm inviting people after for food and birthday cake. It's not really a party more of a small baptism reception, birthday celebration. Does anyone have any ideas on how to word the invite? I was thinking: Please join us in celebrating the baptism and 1st birthday of My son's name Date Baptism will begin at (time) Church Address Birthday celebration will be from 5 - 8 Address Any suggestions and/or ideas are greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I think your wording is great! Anyone who has ever been to a 1st birthday party (besides the parent and the grands) knows that beyond the cake mutilation, they are pretty much a snooze. Great idea to combo the events.
