What should I take on holiday?

I don't know what to take on holiday?

• I know this is a pointless question but I don't know wheather to take my iPod touch 4gen or my phone (Samsung galaxy s) to Tenerife in march because if I don't take say my ipod touch, my parents will think I don't care about it lol. I don't want to take both because I will have to be responsible for them both and don't want to break or lose them. So I was just wondering what you would take. If you don't have anything nice to say then don't say it but I know this is a pointless question because there are more important things going on in the world then worrying about what to take on holiday lol Thanks :)

  I take both but I'm an adult so it's me who pays for them, lol. I use my iPod on the plane to listen to music & the phone is in my bag because it's just one of those things I always have with me. To be honest though , I don't really use either of them once I get there so maybe just take your iPod for the plane. I don't use my phone abroad because a) It's expensive & b) I'm there for a break so there's no real need to stay in touch with anyone. I would only call or text anyone if it was an emergency so my phone pretty much stays in the room safe the whole holiday. As does the ipod, although I do get it out occasionally to listen to music while I'm getting ready to go out. If you do want to stay in touch with friends then there are really cheap internet cafes over there. I have two teenage children & they like to go on Facebook & MSN sometimes . It was only 50 cents for 30 minutes. If I were you, I'd take the iPod because you won't use the phone. Enjoy your holiday. :)
