Creating a calendar for my daughter, need some ideas!?!?

  • Hey!! For Christmas my daughter wants a calendar that I usually get her every year. Well this year, I can't find it anywhere so I thought about making one that is more personal to give to her. I am looking for ideas on how to create and/or what to put on the months, if possible. My baby, I mean big girl is 11 (going on 12) yrs old and I love her to death, so any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!!!

    what about making one with the pictures of all her favourite things like favourite bands/musicians, animals etc. Also on different months you can put in a picture of a person if it is their birthday, or a holiday etc. Hope that helps, if you are planning to make one at home then i would recommend using publisher not word or anything like that.

What a cute idea! I'd say start with either family pictures from different times of the year, and/or pictures of some of her favorite people, places, and things. Maybe once a month, you can mark a special event for just you and her - a movie day, or shopping, or whatever she enjoys. Make sure you include all family members' birthdays as well. What may be really nice, if you can remember, is anniversaries of special events in her life. The day she learned to walk, said, "mama", her first day of school, or anything else she has done that you (and her) were very proud of. Maybe if you can get her friends' birthdays as well, it may be helpful. I'm not the world's most creative person, but I hope this helps! Good luck!
