Independence day: How do you celebrate in your country?

  • Chilean Independence day is coming (Sept 18th), we do lots of stuff, but basically...we eat and drink A LOT! In average, people gain 5 - 7 pounds during the holidays (4 days, normally) How'bout you? What do you do? Thanks!

    Fireworks, picnics and Flying the flag usually. Our Holiday is only one day. July 4th.

Here in Canada, we call it Canada Day. We usually celebrate it by having fireworks. And me personally, me and my friends go watch the fireworks, then we go get drunk at the bar.
