How does tax work for freelancers in Ireland?
-
I have been doing odd jobs as a translator and gained a lot of experience and a French company has contacted me to offer me lots of freelance work, but I have to have a VAT number. What are the legal procedures to go through to become a "registered" freelancer in Ireland? How do I get that VAT number and how much tax will I have to pay? Thanks for any info!!
