Can you use Standard Shipping in a Priority Mail Box?

Priority mail shipping from the U.S. to Astraila?

  • Does anyone know, when shipping a regular size box to Austraila from the U.S. by priority mail international if you have to use a priority mail box, or can I just use a regular brown box? I checke the USPS web site but became confused after about 2 minutes. Thanks

  • Answer:

You are right their website is confusing. To answer your question YES you can use a regular brown box. They will charge you by the weight of the box. The weight limit for priority mail is 66 lbs. Here is a link for you for the USPS chart for express and proirity mail rates. http://pe.usps.com/text/Imm/ab_012.htm#ep1572941 I sincerely doubt you could get 66 lbs in one of their small boxes.
